Our Story

Like 90% of the Akaushi breeders in America, we began our breeding program with bulls and semen from Heartbrand in Flatonia, Texas. 

Since that time, J.T. has relocated with the operation to Montana. We have added Jeff Berst to our team and our focus has shifted to seedstock production. 

We believe strongly in the gifts and importance of family, and we are a family operation. At Hi-Prime our staff, family and friends work tirelessly and commit to producing the highest quality beef.
