 SOR Big Al is a long bodied, powerfully constructed, deep ribbed, and well footed son of Heartbrand Big Al (FB 2998) over UKB Ms Hikari Homare J3 0E (FB 11800). His remarkable pedigree boasts a combination of linebreeding with a smattering of outcross genetics which are not commonly seen in the US Akaushi herd. SOR Big Al is linebred to Dai 10 Mitsumaru through HB Big Al and Hikari, and Dai 2 Shigenami through Namimaru (half brother of Shigemaru). SOR Big Al's pedigree also boasts outcross genetics through his dam UKB Ms Hikari Homare J30E who is the grand daughter of original import dam JVP 27 Homare 128 (FB 2114) imported in 1994. The J30 E maternal line consistently shows to pass on unsurpassed length and structure to progeny of this line.

The Wright Wagyu Master Chef AWA Reg. # FB19526 

Master Chef was born 79lbs and was Academy Red Wagyu's first Full Blood Kumamoto Red. From a young age he was always a most impressive looking calf and weaned a hefty 778lbs and has been an easy doing heavy bull ever since. At 18 months he was 1322 lbs 53" fat 4:3 EMA 88, IMF. 5.7 and testicles 34 cm.  His mature weight for the past two years was 2169lbs. when he came in for his vaccinations in the autumn.

His sire Kajakari is known for his light birth weight calves and they are structurally very correct with good depth of rib and a strong hind quarter. His mother is the great KALFB0234 who has bred so well at Academy. Master Chef is a very sound, quiet bull with a tremendous amount of meat in him.

 Ozzy is a Man among men. He is a Big Al son on the top side and his dam is RMW RUMIKO 20F bringing together many of the greats including Kalanga Red Star, WSI Umemaru, Rueshaw,and TWA Kajikari. Ozzy put up over 300 units of semen on his first shot at the collection facility. In the first AI project using Ozzy semen, he had an astonishing 92% breed-up on first calf heifers. He is a very well-rounded bull with a bright future at Hi-Prime Cattle Co. We are very excited to see this bull continue to prove himself as we think he has potential to be one of the greats.

 6779 is a direct daughter of HB Joe that we have owned since 2018. She is a very phenotypically correct, deep bodied cow with a solid topline. She stands on a perfect foot at the age of 8 years and to this day has a flawless udder. 6779 is very fertile; producing an average of -------- grade 1 embryos per flush. We have used her extensively across high marbling, heavy growth bulls to infuse calving ease and maternal traits into our seedstock offering. She has an outstanding temperament and can sometimes be found eating out of your hand in the winter time.
